Your use of the information, graphics, text, software and materials (Content) on the Website is governed by these Terms of Use and by using the Website you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. The Website may be accessed throughout Australia and overseas. Ascend makes no representation that the Content on the Website complies with the laws of any country outside Australia. If you access the Website from outside Australia, you are responsible for ensuring that that your access to, downloading of, use of or reliance on the Content contained in the Website is in compliance with all laws in the place in which you are located. References to currency are in Australian dollars unless otherwise specified.

The Website provide general information about Ascend and Ascend’s various events, services and activities, as well as interactive facilities and content generated by users of the Website. Content is not to be taken to be professional advice and Ascend strongly encourages any users of information to seek professional advice for any content suggesting the adoption of any specific action / behaviour.

In addition, the Website may from time to time contain or make available various message services, email lists, mailout or newsletter services, social networking facilities, blogs, forums, or other tools and facilities which may be of use to you. Whilst Ascend has made every effort to ensure that any such features are accurate and free from defect, Ascend does not warrant the accuracy, correctness or completeness of these features, which are provided on an “as is” basis.

4 User conduct

Any fraudulent, abusive, or otherwise illegal activity may be grounds for termination of your access to the Website. 10 Limitation of Liability

Subject to any responsibilities implied by law and which cannot be excluded, Ascend, and its directors, employees, agents and contractors, are not liable to you for any losses, damages, liabilities, claims and expenses (including but not limited to legal costs and defence or settlement costs) whatsoever, whether direct, indirect or consequential, arising out of or referable to any Content on the Website, to any material on linked Websites, or to access or use of the Website by you, howsoever caused, whether in contract, tort including negligence, statute or otherwise. 12 Copyright and trade marks

Except where necessary for viewing the Content on the Website or your browser, or as permitted under the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth) or other applicable laws or these Terms of Use, no Content on the Website may be reproduced, adapted, uploaded to a third party, linked to, framed, performed in public, distributed or transmitted in any form by any process without the prior written consent of Ascend. Images containing the Ascend logo used on the Website are owned by Ascend or third parties with whom Ascend has an ongoing business relationship. You must not use any such image containing the Ascend logo without the express written consent of Ascend.

Strata Manager Branded Educational flyers and marketing material - The information contained within these documents is for the exclusive use of strata management businesses who are current, financial subscribers to the Ascend Business Accountants Strata Manager Partner Program to educate their clients only. Use of these documents and/or the content contained within by any other entity or for any other purpose is prohibited under copyright law.

You acknowledge and accept that your use of the Website indicates your acceptance of these Terms of Use.

The law applicable to the Website and to disputes arising out of the Website is the law of the State of Western Australia, Australia.
